Dear Reader, Happy Holidays!! I don’t know about you, but I always find that the holidays are a time of reflection—both on the past year and the future that I try to look forward to with a sense of hope. As we head into Christmas and New Year’s, I wish you the happiest of holiday seasons and a 2006 filled with much love and laughter. And if you find yourself feeling blue—or if you’re just looking for a great gift for someone on your list—pick up a copy of any of my 2005 releases. Please visit my bookshelves at beverlybrandt.com and jaceyford.com to see all of my books, including my newest. I think you’ll find that they’re great pick-me-ups... Plus, books make the perfect stocking stuffers! And, as a little holiday treat, I've just posted a Between the Lines look at Match Game, and a similar peek into my novella "Nothing But The Truth", in the new anthology, The Naked Truth. Also, get a glance Inside the Story of my novella written under Jacey Ford, "Painkillers", in the anthology Kick Ass. For those of you who might have begun to despair that I’d ever finish Dead Heat (book #3 in the Jacey Ford Partners in Crime series), I’m happy to report that the book’s been turned in, edited, revised, and is now on its way to the printer. Look for Dead Heat in bookstores in March 2006, or preorder it online at Barnes & Noble or Amazon.com. For those of you in Australia, you can preorder Dead Heat from Rendezvous Bookstore. My sincere apologies for making you wait for this book. My #1 New Year’s Resolution for 2006 is to never be late on a deadline again! Deadlines notwithstanding, I have much to be thankful for this year. I had a lot of books under contract. I had five releases between my romantic comedies and the romantic suspense I write under my pseudonym, Jacey Ford. I’m healthy. My big, fat, fifteen-year-old cat is doing well now after spending countless hours at the vet getting her thyroid and diabetes issues sorted out. I’m fortunate, too, to have good friends, people that I love in my life, and plenty to eat. I hope the same is true for you, and wish you all the best this holiday season! |
